Adhering to the brand standards and colours proved to be a pleasure, working well with crisp white space, and classic charcoal block for the main navigation. The homepage features a parallax effect that is segregated by navigation item, each section giving the user a glimpse of what the hotel has to offer using high quality, captivating imagery.
All pages feature a sticky navigation to allow constant access to the main menu items. Internal pages host a sophisticated left/right- image/page layout that parallaxes independent to the content. The ‘Stay’ section of the website elegantly demonstrates the accommodation experiences available where the previous site did not. As this perfectly positioned, Sydney hotel is just steps away from all major Sydney icons, the possibilities were endless when it came to magnificent visuals. We focussed on the importance of harnessing these, after all, ‘pictures speak a thousand words’.
