Each banner on the site serves as an extra intelligently ‘gallery’ where users can get a sense of the experience that they will receive when securing accommodation in such a well sought after, prominent location. The execution of the Book Now page allows for the Booking Engine to be presented in an iFrame, so as to not lead users offsite. This has a positive and significant impact on the user experience and conversion as they can easily refer back to room information as they make their booking.
Keeping a very tight focus on brand standards, we were also able to incorporate the famous Ibis Styles green to the typography throughout the site and to the hover effects on the homepage. This delivers a sophisticated translucent green overlay on the call-to-action tiles.
